Prager Metis CPAs, LLC seeks a Talent Acquisition Manager in our New York, NY or Basking Ridge, NJ location. We seek a self-motivated professional with a genuine desire to embrace this challenging career opportunity. Our team actively recruits for all levels of professionals including experienced, entry-level and fixed term professionals.

The Talent Acquisition Manager will be responsible for assessing, hiring and onboarding experienced tax, audit, assurance, advisory and practice support professionals. This individual will be a trusted advisor to hiring managers by understanding their business and their needs. They will work together to develop recruiting strategies for identifying, attracting and engaging talent for this growing public accounting firm. 

Your primary responsibilities include:

  • Full life cycle recruiting for experienced hires, including the development, tailoring and implementation of a proactive recruitment strategy based on the concept of pipelining and nurturing relationships with qualified candidates for current and future opportunities;
  • Promoting employee referral programs, internal opportunities for current team members and developing relationships with alumni and friends of the firm;
  • Conduct orientation and on-boarding activities related to employees joining firm;
  • As a brand ambassador, representing Prager Metis and promoting career opportunities with a leading professional services firm;
  • Conducting competitive research on market trends and providing direction to improve HR processes in relation to recruiting and retention; and
  • Assisting with the execution of national HR/Recruiting initiatives, including campus recruiting, alumni program and fixed-term professionals as needed.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business or related field
  • 5+ years of recruiting experience; professional services or consulting industry experience preferred
  • Demonstrates a thorough knowledge of and have a proven track record of a recruiting and sourcing strategy of both active and passive candidates at all levels  
  • Understanding and utilizing recruiting systems, processes and technology
  • Experience with all phases of the recruitment process including assisting with workforce planning, preparing and posting job descriptions, sourcing and screening candidates, ability to leverage data to make recommendations to leaders, focus on quality and OFCCP and EEOC compliance and adjusting strategy as needed
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with business stakeholders and Human Resources team
  • Proven written and verbal communication skills including tailoring messaging as appropriate to the audience
  • Ability to work with limited supervision in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to think critically, creatively and strategically
  • Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Strong MS Office skills including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
